The origins of the book Noble Tara, The Liberating Mother

Noble Tara, The Liberating Mother is based on a transcript of oral teachings on the Praises to the Twenty-One Taras given by Sera Jey Geshe Ngawang Tenley at Kurukulla Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies in Medford, Massachusetts in March 2013. Geshe Tenley’s commentary was primarily in Tibetan. The teachings were interpreted into English by Damchoe Thubten, who also kindly helped in clarifying the meaning of many phrases and words during the editing of the transcript. The task of bringing the transcript into the grammatically-correct printed English text you now hold in your hands was shared between a team of dedicated students who formed the organization subsequently known as Kaylo Books. This includes Kimberly Fitzmorgan, Wendy Cook, Marta Łuczyńska, Edmund Pignone, Damchoe Thubten, Jennifer Miller, and Laura Haughey.
